AFTER THE RECORDING

The episode is done.
The work isn’t.

  1. 01

The good bit is in there. Somewhere.

You remember the conversation. Finding the exact start and end of a moment means watching it all again.

  2. 02

One clip becomes another editing job.

A vertical frame, readable captions, a strong opening. Then the same decisions again for the next clip.

  3. 03

Your next episode needs you, too.

Short-form can help new listeners find your show. It also competes with the time you need to make it.

FROM EPISODE TO SHORTLIST

Less searching.
More choosing.

Let Creatr do the first pass. Keep your editorial judgment for the moments that matter.

  1. Bring your episode.

  2. Find your strongest moments.

Creatr transcribes the conversation, ranks candidates and makes vertical, captioned clips from the moments that clear your quality bar.

THE SHORT-FORM FORMAT

A new listener starts
with one good moment.

Vertical video puts the speaker first. Captions make the conversation easier to follow. These stock samples show the format, not generated results.

A WEEKLY SHOW, WORKED OUT

Pay for the episode.
Every clip is included.

More good moments shouldn’t mean more per-clip charges. Credits cover the length of the video you add.

Example month: 4 episodes × 60 minutes

Per episode
2 credits
For the month
8 credits
Pro includes
50 credits

60 min ÷ 30 min = 2 credits

That’s 36¢ of your Pro plan per episode.

An allocation of the monthly price, not a separate charge. This example uses 8 of 50 credits, leaving 42. Each video rounds up to the next 30-minute block; the number of clips depends on the moments that clear your quality bar.

THE PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before your
first episode.

What you can bring, what you can change and what happens when it’s time to post.

Try Creatr free
01Can I turn a full podcast episode into YouTube Shorts?

Yes. Add a YouTube link or upload a video up to 3 hours long. Creatr picks moments, reframes them vertically and adds captions. Review and download the clips, or connect your own YouTube channel. Use episodes you own or have permission to repurpose.

02How many clips will I get from an episode?

There isn’t a promised number. Creatr keeps moments that clear your quality bar, within the pipeline’s per-video limits. A conversation with more strong, self-contained moments can produce more clips. Every clip it makes is included; there is no per-clip charge.

03Can I change the captions or where a clip starts?

Yes. The editor lets you correct caption words and adjust the clip’s start and end. You can also choose its Look, hook and music before updating the clip.

04Will every clip look like my show?

Pick a Creatr theme and save your own Look (captions, words on screen, hook style and brand colour), then make it your default. Override it for a particular video or clip when the moment needs a different treatment. Brand colour is supported; a custom logo overlay is not part of a Look.

05Will Creatr publish clips without my approval?

Free and Pro use manual approval and posting. Max can auto-approve clips that meet your quality bar and auto-post on your schedule. YouTube uploads currently remain private until Google verification is complete. Downloads are available for posting yourself.

06Can I use it for a Japanese or multilingual podcast?

Yes. Creatr detects the spoken language and captions in that language; you can override the detection. The app is available in English and Japanese. Review names and specialised terms before sharing, as you would with any automatic transcript.

07Can it import each new episode from my channel automatically?

Yes, on Max and Studio: follow your channel and Autopilot clips each new episode by itself. On Free and Pro, add each episode with a YouTube link or a video upload. Connecting a YouTube channel for posting is a separate feature and is available on every plan.
