AFTER THE RECORDING

The live moment happened.
Finding it again is another job.

  1. 01

    The recording keeps everything.

Long intros, tangents and conversations can bury the moment that made the stream worth watching.

  2. 02

A highlight needs a clean boundary.

A live exchange may need a little setup. The start and ending determine whether a short clip makes sense.

  3. 03

    Not every VOD is speech-led.

A game’s visual action and a spoken story are different tasks. Creatr’s selection is built around speech, not game-event detection.

FROM SOURCE TO SHORTLIST

Bring the recording.
Find the spoken highlight.

Use Creatr for conversational streams, interviews and spoken segments. Review the cut before you share it.

  1. Add a supported source.

Upload a recording or add its YouTube link within the source-length limit. Longer VODs need to be prepared as supported-length sources before adding.

Recordings you own or can use
  2. Review the spoken moments.

Compare ranked candidates and their explanations. Keep the context that makes an answer or story work as a standalone clip.

  3. Trim, caption and share.

Adjust the start and end, correct captions and pick the look. Download the final clip or use connected YouTube posting.

THE SHORT-FORM FORMAT

A long recording.
A short way in.

Vertical video puts the speaker first. Captions make the conversation easier to follow. These stock samples show the format, not generated results.

A SOURCE-VIDEO BUDGET

Meter the source.
Keep every clip.

More good moments shouldn’t mean more per-clip charges. Credits cover the length of the video you add.

Example month: 12 sources × 180 minutes

Per episode
6 credits
For the month
72 credits
Max includes
100 credits

180 min → 6 credits (each started 30 min)

That’s $1.14 of your Max plan per source.

An allocation of the monthly price, not a separate charge. This example uses 72 of 100 credits, leaving 28. Each video rounds up to the next 30-minute block; the number of clips depends on the moments that clear your quality bar.

THE PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before you
bring the source.

The workflow, its limits and what stays in your hands.

Try Creatr free
01Can I add a VOD longer than the source limit?

Not as a single source. Prepare supported-length recordings before adding them, preserving enough context. Each source is metered separately with its own rounding.

02Will it detect kills, wins or other visual game events?

No game-event detection is claimed. Creatr is designed for speech-led moments such as stories, answers and conversations. Review whether that matches your stream.

03Does it automatically remove all silence from a VOD?

No silence-trimming promise is made here. Creatr selects candidate moments and gives you timing controls to refine each resulting clip.

04Can I use a Twitch VOD link directly?

The link intake described here is YouTube. For other services, upload a recording you have the right to use. A live-streaming integration is not claimed.

05How long can each source video be?

Each source can be up to 3 hours long. Credits round up per source in 30-minute blocks. Every generated clip is included; the number of clips depends on which moments clear your quality bar.

06Will Creatr publish clips without my approval?

Free and Pro use manual approval and posting. Max can auto-approve clips that meet your quality bar and auto-post on your schedule. YouTube uploads currently remain private until Google verification is complete. Downloads are available for posting yourself.

07Can I use Japanese or other spoken languages?

Yes. The spoken language is detected automatically and captions follow it; you can override the detection. The app is available in English and Japanese. Review names and specialist terms before sharing.
